The Corsham School is seeking to appointment an innovative and enthusiastic teacher of Girls’ PE. A contribution to extra-curricular sporting activities is essential for this position.
The school actively welcomes applications from experienced teachers or those newly qualified. We are seeking to appoint an individual who loves to teach and believes in lifelong learning.
We are very proud that our department meets the needs of all students in our school. We deliver high quality PE to key stages 3,4 & 5 and have an extensive range of examination courses indicating the popularity of our subject. We have a plethora of facilities including a purpose built dance studio, brand new all-weather pitch, gymnasia, extensive playing fields and use of the Community Campus for swimming, sports hall and climbing. This allows us to deliver a varied extra-curricular programme including a Sports Leaders Academy in partnership with our local primary schools and School Sports Coordinator.
The Corsham School is part of a multi academy trust serving the market town of Corsham and surrounding villages. It is situated in North Wiltshire, 8 miles east of Bath and 2 miles from the National Trust village of Lacock.
The Corsham School is a member of the Leading Edge Partnership and is Transforming in three aspects of the SSAT’s Foundation for Exceptional Education.
