A talented and committed Teacher of Girls PE with particular strengths in team sports is required to join our highly successful team of PE specialists. Great Baddow High School competes successfully in a number of sports at district, county and national level. It would be an advantage to have experience in teaching KS4 examination qualifications and also in delivering the BTEC Level 3 Sport qualification. A desire and commitment to contribute to extra-curricular sports provision is essential. This post is suitable for ECT’s.
Staff morale is high at our school; we have an excellent induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff. All teaching staff are provided with a laptop.
Our oversubscribed school again achieved a ‘GOOD’ rating in its Ofsted inspection in June 2022 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.

We promote many vocational and enrichment opportunities, including STEM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) to enrich learning experiences.
Specialising in sports since 2004, our sports facilities, teaching expertise and extra-curricular provision are outstanding. Our students enjoy sporting success at district and national level and benefit from an exceptional extra-curricular programme although our ethos is centred on participation for all.
