We are seeking an enthusiastic and appropriately qualified candidate to join a department with a strong record at all levels. The successful candidate will be able to teach KS5 Health and Social Care and Social Sciences. This is a part time post for 3 days per week, from January to August 2019.
The Social Sciences department has a successful track record; consistently achieving positive value added scores and teaches over half of the existing sixth form. The Faculty includes KS5 Psychology, Sociology, Law, Health and Social Care, Criminology and BTEC Children’s Play. In KS4 Child Development and Sociology are taught.
We are looking for someone who is willing to share and help develop ideas to ensure that students enjoy their lessons and make progress as a result. The successful candidate must be an excellent practitioner who can support and challenge all students to achieve their full potential.
