Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Teacher of Sociology on behalf of a College in Durham who, last year had another year of excellent academic and personal achievements. This includes a 100% A-level pass rate, which is higher than previous national averages. Vocational results are also well-above national figures with students gaining on average a Distinction Star grade. The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, and demonstrate excellence through high quality teaching and learning.
The appointed person must have a Health and Social Care qualification, QTS or QTLS, be able to clearly communicate their passion for the subject, and engage successfully with learners. They must also be able to teach Health and Social Care to KS5, be committed to achievement, and work with resilience to ensure learners’ progress towards targets is met or exceeded.
The position is initially on a temporary basis and will start in ASAP and will be for the remainder of the academic year.
The salary for this position will be between £105 and £194.21 per day depending on experience
