We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and talented professional to join our highly successful and talented Food, Textiles and Health & Social Care department. We are looking for someone who can contribute to the teaching of Health and Social Care at Key Stages 4 and 5 and/or Key Stage 3 Food/Textiles (subject focus to be determined based on candidate’s areas of strength), alongside also teaching some Physical Education. 

The successful candidate will be: 

  •  An excellent practitioner with a passion for Health & Social Care, PE and Food / Textiles 
  • Committed to the highest standard of achievement for all students.
  • An outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • An enthusiastic team-player, self-motivated and committed to further professional development.

The Food, Textiles and Health & Social Care department is thriving and has a reputation for excellence. All students study Food and Textiles at Key Stage 3 with many students choosing to study Food/Catering, Textiles and Health & Social Care at Key Stages 4 and 5. The department achieves outstanding results and offers our students a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

The PE department enjoys a reputation for excellent, dynamic teaching and learning. Achievement is strong and the post offers a superb opportunity for an energetic teacher with excellent skills to develop further within a positive and supportive environment.
