Salary: £23,630—£39,135 per annum, pro rata for part time hours. Incremental progression throughout the band is available.

As a growing department we are very excited to have new opportunities arising with the increase in demand in a number of health and social care specialist areas. If you are a well-qualified, enthusiastic and skilled teacher with a proven track record of outstanding academic success and achievements who would enjoy teaching adult and/or16-18 learners on level 1-3 BTEC Health and Social Care and Open Awards and Access to HE courses we would encourage you to apply. We are interested to hear from excellent Health and Social Care Teachers as well as Teachers with Psychology, Criminology, Early Years or Biology specialisms. Equally if you have experience in delivering Health and Social Care at HNC level we would also like to hear from you.
You will bring a positive attitude and high expectations to each classroom and work as part of a friendly and supportive team in a rapidly developing curriculum area that aims to raise achievements and realise the potential in each learner. Applications from NQTs and industry specialists are welcome. This vacancy is a full time post but for the right candidates, a job sharing arrangement would be considered.
