We are looking for an inspirational teacher with the drive and determination to contribute to our thriving Health & Social Care Department. Health & Social Care is taught in the Sixth Form at Level 3 as an Extended Diploma and at KS4 as part of our option choices. Both courses are extremely popular with students and results are excellent.
You will use your passion and vision to ensure that students studying Health & Social Care receive a rich learning experience which will inspire our students and ensure that they achieve the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented, thriving and successful department.

Oaklands is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in East London. It is a community state school as well as a NSS (National Support School] that provides support to other schools. A smaller than average secondary school, it will provide 850 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18, when fully subscribed.
With over 20 years’ worth of educational success, Oaklands has been a specialist school for science since 2003 and became a specialist modern foreign language school in 2008.
