Swanshurst is an ‘Outstanding School’ for girls with 1760 students on roll aged 11-19 years.  We offer excellent support and CPD for staff at all stages of their career.  Swanshurst School has been a great environment for my first term as an NQT.  The support I have received from my department and the mentoring team has been amazing and is ongoing.  I couldn’t wish for a better place to spend the first of hopefully many years of teaching.’ (NQT)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, well qualified and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Teacher to join our progressive and vibrant department. We offer Pearson BTEC Tech Awards and Nationals as well as CACHE at levels 2 and 3. From September 2018 we will also be offering Criminology as a level 3 course. We would expect you to teach BTEC qualifications at KS4 AND KS5. Experience at delivering Childcare courses would be an advantage.  

The successful candidate will bring the energy, enthusiasm and expertise that will help our students to flourish in Health and Social Care.  This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
