Teacher of History (a responsibility point for leading a key stage available)

You would be joining us at an incredibly exciting time in the School’s history. Rated “outstanding” by Ofsted in 2015 and celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, Central Foundation is the top performing non-selective all boys school in the country based on 2016 GCSE outcomes. In 2016, 84% of our Year 11 students achieved 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths while our Progress 8 was 0.65. Our Sixth Form is in the top 15% of all post 16 providers in the country.

We are looking for an outstanding History teacher to join our well-resourced and highly successful History department. A responsibility point for leading a key stage is available for the right candidate. We deliver History courses up to A level.

The behaviour of students is outstanding and the disciplined environment allows the teachers to focus on delivering great academic outcomes.
