Wellow House School is an independent, co-educational preparatory school in Nottinghamshire.  Located in Newark, it accommodates 150 students aged 2-13.   The School began as a preparatory school for boys aged 7-13 in 1971, in the kitchen and sitting room of a family home in Ravenscar. The school began welcoming girls in the early 1980s and the pre-prep was added in 1986.

We place great emphasis on providing a supportive, caring educational environment at the school with pastoral care a central element of life at Wellow House. With small classes throughout, teachers are able to educate, encourage and nurture pupils on an individual level and help in the development of their knowledge, character and personality. The vibrant learning environment is one where children feel safe, happy and challenged to always achieve their best.
