The role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an academically successful, hard-working and supportive department that strives to provide the most engaging and challenging curriculum within our international context.

The Humanities department places greater emphasis on providing high quality, relevant, and inclusive teaching within our subjects that carefully considers the needs of individual students. We pride ourselves in constantly reflecting, adapting, and improving our provision so it can be the best it can be.

 

The ideal candidate would have a proven track record at teaching Cambridge IGCSE History and/or experience teaching the International Baccalaureate Diploma for History for Years 12 and 13. Candidates who have also taught Geography at KS3 would be an advantage.

In addition to this, the candidate we are looking for will have strong collaboration skills and be able to work within a team environment. They should be passionate about their subject knowledge and use this to plan a curriculum and lessons to inspire our students from KS3 so they continue their learning journey within our subjects into IGCSE, IB and beyond.

  • International school experience, particularly an IB background, is desired but not a necessity to apply.
