Job overview

A well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate is required for September 2017 to teach History at least to GCSE and Government & Politics to A-level within a large, dynamic and successful department. Both subjects are popular and achieve very good public examination results, with significant numbers going on to study related subjects at university. The ability to teach either subject or both to Oxbridge preparation level would be highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the extra curricular life of the School. He or she will be paid at the appropriate point of the Mill Hill School salary scale.

About Mill Hill School

The Mill Hill School Foundation offers education to boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 in its four Schools. The Schools occupy a magnificent 160 acres of beautiful grounds just 10 miles from Central London with easy access to underground and main line stations.

Mill Hill School is the senior school in the Foundation and the largest in our group, catering to boys and girls aged 13-18. We offer weekly and full boarding, although the majority of students are day pupils.
