Teacher of History and the Personal Development Curriculum (Citizenship)

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of History and PDC. The Forest School is a successful, popular and friendly 11-16 comprehensive boys school, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our pupils and staff. An all boys' school provides an environment where traditional values and courtesy flourish. The boys' natural exuberance means that it is a joy to teach History and PSHE.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a number of the following;
- Qualified Teacher Status
- The ability to motivate pupils and achieve excellent results
- The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
- An enthusiasm for History, PDC and PSHE and the ability to share this with young people
You will join a thriving, supportive and highly respected subject team. You will work with us to promote History and PDC as an area of the curriculum that will contribute to the success of the whole school. You will be able to teach History and PDC across the age and ability range of this school and make a valuable contribution to the extra-curricular programme.
