BCS is a rapidly growing co-educational independent school situated on the south coast.  The School has extensive facilities, on two sites. BCS provides a nurturing environment where the happiness of the pupils comes first.


BCS is looking to appoint a professional and talented Teacher of History with excellent communication skills to teach across the age range.  


We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and forward-thinking teacher to join our team, who will contribute to the continuing growth of this subject area.  Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to be an effective team member, they will show how they have or will contribute digital strategies and resources to support this growing department and develop the KS3 curriculum and will show a thorough commitment to pupil learning. 


As one of our teachers you will use your imagination, commitment and ambition to challenge our pupils to enjoy History. The successful person will be able to plan and deliver high quality, effective, personalised teaching which will enable pupils to enjoy learning and achieve their full potential.

BCS is a co-educational independent school on the south coast. The school has extensive facilities across two sites; BCS Senior (day and boarding, 11-18) is situated in excellent grounds in Southbourne, Bournemouth and BCS Prep (day, 2-11) is in spacious accommodation in Lower Parkstone, Poole. There are currently approximately 630 pupils on roll.
