An academically strong historian with an ability to inspire very able pupils across the year groups is sought to join a lively and successful department. The post would suit either a newly qualified or an experienced teacher.

We study a broad range of historical periods and topics, with many pupils taking this popular subject at GCSE, pre-U level and beyond. You must therefore have knowledge of IGCSE and A level/PreU history; the ability to teach government and politics and knowledge of politics A level is desirable, though not essential. In addition, you will share our commitment to pastoral support and be willing to participate in running our programme of lectures, visits and overseas trips
