The de Ferrers Academy has gained a reputation for high levels of academic achievement, demonstrated by another extremely successful year for our students at GCSE and A-level. We have a positive ethos and excellent staff/student relationships, together with a commitment to the personal and professional development of our staff. In recent years, the Academy has developed a national reputation for innovation and success in Learning technologies and ICT. The Academy is an Apple Regional Training Centre, with 1:1 use of iPads for all Key Stage 4 and 5 students.

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic individual to continue to raise levels of achievement within this area. The faculty is very well resourced and prides itself on a strong record of success based on a team of committed staff with a passion for teaching and learning.

We are situated on the rural outskirts of Burton upon Trent, within easy access of Birmingham, Nottingham and Derby.
