We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational teacher of history

Located in Prestwich, Greater Manchester, Parrenthorn High School is a co-educational secondary school established in 1974. In response to local demand the school buildings have recently been extended and adapted to accommodate an increased intake and has approximately 976 pupils aged 11-16 on roll.

Parrenthorn High School takes great pride in its comprehensive ethos, and as such works hard to ensure the success of every pupil regardless of background or academic ability. To this end, the school runs a modern and wide-ranging curriculum, with older students at Key Stage 4 having the option of numerous academic GCSEs and vocational BTECs. As well as this, the school ensures that proper support is available for these students as to their options when leaving school, be it further education or employment.
