South Hampstead High School, the 2022 Independent Girls’ School of the Year is seeking to appoint a dynamic, energetic and inspirational teacher, to join a strong department with an excellent academic record, to cover a period of maternity leave.

You will teach History to highly motivated and talented pupils from Year 7 to the Upper Sixth. The ability to teach Politics is highly desirable. Candidates may have taught Politics before, or be willing to learn a new skill, with an existing political interest.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher, with a proven track record. However, applications would also be welcome from ECTs and those looking to begin a career in teaching. We will consider full-time or part-time applicants for the role; the part- time role will be 3 or 4 days per week.
