Vision for Education are looking to recruit a part time Teacher of History on behalf of a client school in Durham. The school values learning and celebrates achievement. Examination results are important to them and students do very well here, performing significantly above national figures. The school teach their students to become curious, creative, reflective and self-confident individuals who are ready to take the next steps in their lives.
You will be required to teach History to KS3 however the timetable also has some lessons of KS3 English. The appointed person must have a suitable teaching qualification, be able to clearly communicate their passion for the subject, and engage successfully with learners. They must also be committed to achievement, and work with resilience to ensure learners’ and the department’s progress towards targets is met or exceeded.
The salary for this position will be between £105 and £198.12 per day. The position is part time, will start in January 2018 and be up until the end of the academic year.
