Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Teacher of History on behalf of a School in the Durham area who inspires excellence by its very nature. They strive to develop potential of all participants in their unique and remarkable educational community. The schools abiding passion is for all students to be nurtured as uniquely talented individuals, finding fulfilment through their learning and the development of their intellectual, creative, physical and emotional capabilities. They are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner to join their dedicated History department. The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, and demonstrate excellence through high quality teaching and learning. Experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 History is essential.

The appointed person must have a History qualification, be able to clearly communicate their passion for the subject, and engage successfully with learners. They must also be committed to achievement, and work with resilience to ensure learners’ progress towards targets is met or exceeded.

The position is temporary and will start in January 2018. 

The salary for this position will be between £105 and £198.12 per day depending on experience
