Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Teacher of History on behalf of an outstanding School in the Durham area. The School place great emphasis on striving for personal success whatever the starting point for the individual they will support, encourage and challenge them to reach their potential. They are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner to join them as part of their dedicated Humanities department. The successful candidate will be required to teach History to KS3 and KS4. The School are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who can demonstrate excellence through high quality teaching and learning.
The appointed person must have a suitable teaching qualification, be able to clearly communicate their passion for the subject, and engage successfully with learners. They must also be committed to achievement, and work with resilience to ensure learners’ progress towards targets is met or exceeded.
The position is initially on a fixed term basis and will start on 4th September 2017 and will continue for the full academic year.
The salary for this position will be between £105 and £196.15 per day depending on experience. NQT’s and experienced teachers are welcome and encouraged to apply.
