The Governors are seeking to appoint a History Teacher to join our team of Humanities Specialists. The successful candidate will be required to teach at Key Stages 3 and 4 and may be required to teach some non-specialist Geography. 

Humanities is a growing department with uptake at GCSE increasing year on year making Humanities subjects the most popular option choices at GCSE. This is a flourishing department at Blessed Trinity and has a central role within the school.  A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered and organised by the department.

The department also provides after school revision sessions, coursework drop-in days and revision days in school holidays.

Blessed Trinity RC College is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic secondary school, situated in Burnley, Lancashire. There are approximately 1,250 students at the college aged between 11-16.

Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
