We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed Teacher of History to deliver our history curriculum, ensuring an excellent provision for our young people. Guiseley School is passionate about its Humanities curriculum comprising History, RE and Geography. We are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all our students. The successful candidate will have a passion for History, although the ability and willingness to teach across the humanities would be an advantage.

Guiseley School is an 11-18 fully inclusive school situated in a small town in the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is now a suburb of north west Leeds and close to the stunning Dales. The school is part of a Co-operative Trust established in 2014. The school works jointly with a number of local schools to promote the welfare and success of the children of Aireborough. As part of the local community, Guiseley School has a firm reputation for high standards in both behaviour and academic endeavour. The Governing Board is keen to continue this traditional understanding of the school and to develop its reputation for excellence. The school is proud to have achieved the prestigious Platinum Artsmark award in 2017.
