We are seeking to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of History to start employment in September 2021. The role would suit an experienced teacher, an NQT or a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching. The role involves teaching History up to A Level; the ability to teach Politics A Level would be an advantage but not a necessity.
The History Department at Merchant Taylors’ has a reputation for excellence and has successfully sent a numerous students to study History at Oxford and Cambridge in recent years.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable, enthusiastic and dedicated to the holistic approach to learning on which we pride ourselves at Merchant Taylors’. The individual should thus be prepared to contribute fully towards the School’s extracurricular and co-curricular programmes.
