TEACHER OF HISTORY MPR

Full Time

Part Time considered (0.6)

Required 1st January 2020

Moulsham High School has an excellent academic record with outcomes consistently being well above national. We also possess a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and development of staff and students with exemplary attitudes to learning.  We received a glowing Ofsted report in March 2019

We are looking for an outstanding teacher of history whose passion for the subject inspires others to join our highly successful and forward looking history team.

You must be able to teach history at least up to and including G.C.S.E.  The ability to also teach A level would be an advantage.

As part of the school’s humanities specialism, history is a highly valued subject in our curriculum.  It is one of the most popular options at both KS4 and KS5 and boasts a proven track record of success.   79% G.C.S.E. students achieved grades 9-4 in 2019.  The department also successfully delivers A-level government and politics.  All history teachers have their own classrooms adjacent to each other and equipped with projector, interactive whiteboard and internet access.

The post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced candidate.

Potential candidates are most welcome to visit the school prior to application.  Please contact Kevin Adams, HR, using the details below.
