We are seeking to appoint a well-motivated Teacher of History to cover a Maternity Leave absence and join our outstanding Humanities team, the successful candidate will:
• have extremely high expectations of all students at all times
• play a full part in the life of the school community, support the Trust and school mission and ethos and encourage staff and students to follow this example
• ensure the consistent delivery of good achievement and progress for all students
• contribute significantly to the continued development and success of the Humanities department
• be a positive team player with a strong commitment to professional development

We are a popular 11-16 comprehensive school located in the South East of Sheffield, with a continual focus on school improvement, quality teaching and learning, care, guidance and support.
Our Progress 8 score is one of the highest in the country and we are celebrated for the work we do with our most disadvantaged students.
In 2017 Handsworth Grange Community Sports College became the lead school for the Minerva Learning Trust. As part of that role we support other schools and share best practice amongst all the schools within the Trust.
