About the role

We require an enthusiastic and forward-thinking full-time teacher of History to join our highly successful and dynamic Humanities faculty in September 2018.  Ability to teach a second subject would be advantageous but not essential.

At Sponne School the development of teaching staff is something that is taken very seriously so we offer the following benefits:

  • All new staff are given assistance in helping them settle in.
  • Being part of the Tove Learning Trust and The Swan Teaching School Alliance staff benefit from continued professional development and lots of collaboration between other local schools to ensure that best practice is shared amongst teachers.
  • The leadership team in the school are also determined to ensure that teachers are given the right support to succeed in their roles.

The Trustees of Tove Learning Trust and the Local Governors of Sponne School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
