Courage: Students will be expected to show resilience and have the determination to persist even when things are difficult. Students and staff will be encouraged to also ‘do the right thing’ and have the courage to ‘defend the weak’ and ‘speak up’ for what is right and wrong.

Challenge: Students will be expected to challenge themselves and have high aspirations. Students must be brave enough to challenge themselves, try new things and embrace the opportunities the Academy will offer during curriculum time and the extensive extra-curricular programme. Students and staff will be encouraged to challenge what they know is not true or fair and ‘speak up’.

Success: This is for all students. Success does not come cheaply. Parents and staff must work together with students who demonstrate courage and challenge to ensure that everybody succeeds. We aspire for all of our students to be prepared to succeed in the 21st century, to have the qualifications to open any door and the human conviction to achieve the life that they wish to lead. Students and staff will be encouraged to succeed personally but help others to do so as well.
