BOA Digital Technologies a brand new 11-18 Free School welcoming its first cohort of Year 7 students in September 2022. The next cohort of year 7s will start in September 2023 and it is our plan to admit Post 16 students the year afterwards, continuing to grow year on year. Our vision is to offer a truly unique and distinctive education and provide a new model of teaching underpinned by digital skills and learning. Located in the heart of Birmingham’s growing technology and digital hub, close to industrial and academic partners, and with first-class facilities, BOA Digital is looking to meet the UK’s growing need for a high-class digital workforce.

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, confident and enthusiastic teacher to plan, prepare and deliver outstanding lessons in the Humanities at KS3. Currently in KS3, we deliver all three humanities together where themes of history, geography and RE are all covered.

You will encourage a climate of mutual support in which self-confidence and self-esteem can grow and an effective department team is established and nurtured.

The role is suitable to either an ECT or experienced teacher. A full induction package and CPD opportunities are offered to help develop your teaching practice.

If you share the academy’s vision and ambitions, possess a strong desire to work within an ethos of creative collaboration and partnership and want to have a positive impact on young people, families, and the community then we would be delighted to hear from you.

The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
