This post would suit PGCE students currently completing their teacher qualifications (NQT) ready to start in July 2017. Part of the role will require you to work one week only in August 2017 for Summer School. You will be paid over the summer holidays on UQT 4 which equates to £1850 per month gross. As an aspiring outstanding classroom practitioner, you will play a key part in further raising Teaching and Learning standards.

The successful candidate will: 

  • have the ability to review, evaluate, plan and lead by example
  • have the ability to work under pressure, effectively manage time and prioritise actions
  • have drive, enthusiasm, resilience, warmth and humour have opportunities to contribute to the wider life and ethos of the School
  • be able to teach humanities subjects at Key Stage 3 (Geography, History, RE)
