Teacher of Humanities (Geography Specialist) Maternity Cover
Required for February 2021, an enthusiastic teacher to join the Humanities Faculty at Ysgol Friars.
We have a temporary opportunity for an innovative, talented and ambitious teacher of Humanities to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum in Geography, be capable of teaching Humanities based subjects to pupils of all ages and abilities at Key Stages 3 and 4, as well as the ability to motivate pupils,stimulate an interest in Geography and Humanities and as well as being able to work as part of a team and to show initiative.
Emphasis is placed on high expectations and we have a well-developed system of pupil support and pastoral care. The school is popular with parents because of its orderly environment.
