Teacher of Humanities (mainly History)

St George’s School is a Catholic mixed comprehensive Academy for students aged from eleven to nineteen.  St George’s has a long history of outstanding examination performance and was once again graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in November 2014.  St George’s is situated in Maida Vale, North West London close to transport links and inner London.  Required for September 2018, a full-time permanent teacher to join our high achieving Humanities department.   We are looking for an flexible, enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher with excellent classroom skills to teach mainly History (but may be required to teach some Geography).  This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, creative department in a dynamic, successful, over-subscribed school.  If you feel you have the vision, skills and commitment to support us in our continued drive to raise attainment and get the best from our students then we would be pleased to hear from you.
