Teacher of Humanities (Secondary)

Horizon International School in Dubai is an established, thriving community that follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum of England in Primary and Secondary. Students take a combination of IGCSE and GCSE at the end of Key Stage 4 leading into A Levels thereafter. Since our doors opened in September 2008, the school community has rapidly grown and we now have approximately 950 students with ages ranging from 3 to 18 from over 45 different countries.

The Post

For September 2017, we are looking for a well qualified and talented Secondary Humanities teacher to complement our current team. We are looking for an individual who is able to teach consistently to an exceptionally high standard, focused on student progress and who fully supports the importance of developing positive relationships with families. 

The ability to offer more than one subject in the Faculty would be an advantage, with History, Geography, Sociology, Psychology and Health & Social Care being taught up to A Level.

A leadership post may be available for the right candidate.
