JOB/PERSON SUMMARY:

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an inspiring and creative teacher to work in a supportive school. Weston Secondary School in Southampton is a small academy with big ambitions for our students who are aged 11 to 16. We have a strong commitment to ensuring high achievement in all subjects enabling students to progress to college, university and the workplace. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioner, who is flexible and passionate about delivering quality learning experiences. The successful candidate will need to be committed to raising standards and making a significant difference to all students’ levels of attainment and wellbeing. 


This position would suit an experienced teacher as well as an ECT, with specific focus in Religious Education and History. Professional learning is a major priority and, therefore, we can offer a personalised CPD programme including funded access to an appropriate NPQ course as part of our commitment to your development. We are a friendly team who support each other to create a real ‘family ethos’ within the school.
