Derby Moor Academy is an oversubscribed, 11 - 18, multicultural school with 1,507 on roll. Teacher of Humanities (with the ability to teach History, Geography or Religious Studies at KS4 –KS5)
The Humanities Faculty is a hardworking department consisting of highly skilled and dedicated people who are passionate about their subject. The post is open to both experienced and newly qualified teachers committed to raising levels of achievement for all students, regardless of background.
We are seeking to appoint an individual who:
- Has the ability and desire to contribute positively to the wider school community
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire others
- Has the ability to teach Humanities across the age range from KS3 to KS5
- Has the ability to teach History, Geography or Religious Studies at KS4 –KS5
- Will always go the extra mile to support our students to succeed
