The role:

A Teacher of ICT and Computer Science is required to join an increasingly successful faculty which has played a significant role in achieving excellent results over the last 4 years. The faculty is growing as a result of increased number of students opting for our wide range of subjects. ICT in our schools is a highly subscribed subject and as a result, we need to increase the number of teachers within our team.

The person:

The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, determined and passionate Teacher to add to their strong Vocational Learning faculty. Working closely with the Head and the Second in Faculty, you will join a team of supportive, hard-working and gifted teachers who put students first in their quest to provide the very best learning experiences for all. The successful applicant will want to inspire our students to develop a love for ICT whilst enabling students to make rapid progress in their studies. In addition, the teacher will teach our growing number of students who are opting to study our GCSE and BTEC courses at key stage 4. A cohort of students studying ICT in key stage 5 is a strong possibility. A candidate who is able to develop this course and broaden our provision would be advantageous. We are looking for colleagues with drive, a love for teaching and learning and a passion for their subject. You will have the ability to contribute to the successes of a creative and energetic department through your teaching practice and your desire to work as part of a team.

The post would equally suit a confident and ambitious NQT or an experienced teacher with excellent subject knowledge, a willingness to learn and a passion for teaching.
