If you are an innovative and creative Teacher of ICT and Computing at Secondary level with high expectations of achievement and behaviour, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students, we would like to hear from you.  

The Computing Department teaches both the Eduqas Computer Science and BTEC Digital Information Technology specifications at KS4. Students are taught across two classes with approximately 25 pupils taking the subject in each qualification. In KS5 the Computing Department delivers the BTEC National Diploma specification to around 25 pupils across Upper and Lower Sixth Form pupils. The expectations for results are very high and a number of pupils progress to Computer Science or related courses at University.

The Department is housed in its own building comprising of 4 computer suites and an additional room in the main school building. Rooms are all equipped with PCs running Windows 10, Office 365 and other popular software needed for the qualifications offered. We have a suite of Raspberry Pis which can be used within the rooms as required. Furthermore, Computer Science is a compulsory part of KS3 where students are taught the fundamental of problem solving, algorithms and simple program creation. 

The successful candidate must be approachable, adaptable and well organised and in sympathy with the Catholic ethos and Mission of the School.

St. Anselm's is a voluntary-aided Catholic school for students of all abilities, designated as a specialist Science College in September 2004.
