Values and Vision

The school motto is “Accept Challenge, Achieve Success”. Peele Community College strives constantly for its students' success, focusing on academic achievements and developing skills and talents, while always helping children to advance personally and socially. It believes that the more a school understands what constitutes effective teaching and learning, the better its students will do. All teachers are charged with promoting literacy and numeracy as well as the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of their pupils.

Students are encouraged to believe that there is no limit to academic achievement, and every child is urged to achieve their very best within a strong learning culture of mutual respect.

“Pupils’ personal development and welfare are securely established. They feel safe and are supported well within the school. Governors have a detailed understanding of the school’s strengths and areas for improvement. They are highly visible in the school and actively support and challenge senior leaders. Attainment at GCSE is rising and getting closer to the national average. Progress in core subjects is good.”
