Job overview

Due to expansion across the Trust and an increase in student numbers, South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an inspirational, highly motivated and well-qualified Teacher of ICT to work at either Bourne Academy or Spalding Academy.  The successful candidate will teach across the age range, including examination groups.

Both Trust schools are within an easy commute of Stamford and Peterborough.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced instructor/teacher however NQTs are welcome to apply and, for the right candidate, there is a negotiable recruitment allowance.  The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of teaching secondary age students;

• The ability to teach BTEC ICT up to KS4;

• The opportunity to teach BTEC ICT at KS5;

• The opportunity to teach BTEC Business Studies up to KS4;

• The ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results;

• Excellent organisational and ICT skills;

• The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team;

• A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people.

The ICT departments are well resourced and have a track record of high levels of academic achievement and engagement with innovative teaching and learning practice and, for the right candidate, a negotiable, recruitment incentive will be awarded.
