Job overview

Perryfields High School is a thriving school located in Oldbury, Sandwell. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to the life chances of our students. You will have an important role in building on the good standards already achieved at Perryfields. We are very proud of the achievements our students make academically and in many other spheres. We aspire to provide the very best educational opportunities and outcomes for all of our students and OFSTED acknowledge the progress we are making; awarding us ‘Good’ in January 2018.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher of ICT, who will ensure that student progress is maximised through innovative, challenging and engaging teaching across KS3 and KS4.  The successful applicant will also be required to teach vocational classes and so familiarity with the OCR Imedia course would be desirable. The post is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to teach and work within a team of highly motivated and inspiring staff. This post would be suitable for either an NQT or an established teacher.

The ICT Department has a history of strong results across all Key Stages and offers a variety of very popular KS4 courses; Imedia, Enterprise and Computer Science. As a school we firmly believe that our purpose is to inspire excellence in character and scholarship - the students and their families have bought into this vision and together we form a friendly and dedicated community.

Depending on national guidance, it may be possible to arrange a visit to the department.  If you would be interested in this, please contact Beverly Parker via the email address below.
