Padworth College (Co-educational, Boarding and Day, 13-19) has the following full time vacancy from September 2017:- TEACHER OF ICT We seek a graduate with a PGCE to teach ICT IGCSE, OCR Cambridge Technicals and the ICT component of our Business Access Foundation course. About Padworth College
Located in Reading, Berkshire, Padworth College is a co-educational independent senior school. First established in 1963, the school became co-educational in 2005. The school has around 100 pupils aged 14-19, making it far smaller than the average secondary school. Padworth College occupies an 18-acre site, and is mainly housed in an 18th Century manor house. Despite this, the school can boast of a wide range of modern, high-quality teaching and recreational facilities. The school primarily accepts boarding pupils, although a small number of day pupils are in attendance.

“The school is very successful in meeting its aims. The large majority of pupils are working in English as their second language and, as such, their achievements and learning are good. Pupils achieve good results in national examinations and make excellent progress overall. They benefit from a good curriculum, appropriate to their specific needs, although provision for physical education and sport is limited.”
