Part Time - 0.8 FTE
Cadbury Sixth Form College wishes to appoint a part time 0.8fte Teacher of IT & Computer Studies to commence on 30th August 2017.
The person appointed will be required to teach A level Computing and also have knowledge to teach BTEC L3 qualifications in Information Technology. All teaching will take place in a dedicated computer laboratory, which is fully equipped for its purpose. In addition to teaching their specialist subjects, all teachers at Cadbury College are expected to contribute to the college’s enrichment programme.
Applicants will require a degree in Computer Studies or relevant alternative qualification, a formal teaching qualification and previous experience of teaching Computing and/or IT at A’ level. The department currently follows the Welsh Board examination syllabus and experience of this would be preferred, but not essential. Prior experience of teaching BTEC would also be preferred.
Successful candidates will be placed on the appropriate point of the Sixth Form Colleges’ Pay Spine for teaching staff pro rata to the fte worked, giving an actual range of £18,349 - £30,691 pa for 0.8fte.
