Teacher of Italian
Part time and fixed term
For February 2018
The Godolphin and Latymer School is one of the country’s leading independent day schools for girls. The girls are bright and motivated and they are talented linguists, achieving excellent examination results. There is a strong focus on skills development and independent learning and both curricular languages and extra-curricular activities are highly popular within the large Modern Foreign Languages Faculty.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Italian to join the school on a part time basis, working the equivalent of either 0.6 or 0.8 of a full timetable, from approximately February 2018 to December 2018. The ability to teach Italian up to and including A-Level (we also offer the IB Diploma in the Sixth Form) is an essential requirement. The ability to teach an additional language could be advantageous.
We would welcome applications from NQTs as well as from more experienced teachers.
This will be a fixed purpose maternity cover contract and the salary awarded will depend upon qualifications and experience.
