Teacher of Key Stage 3 Science and Maths

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic teacher of Science to join out KS3 teaching and learning team at an exciting phase in the Academy’s development. We are a richly diverse, vibrant school described by Ofsted as a ‘provider of excellence in the Gosforth community’ with a ‘climate of endeavour and enjoyment’ (Ofsted, 2015).

• A passion for Science and a clear understanding of the KS3 Science curriculum
• An understanding of the requirements of the KS3 Maths curriculum and a keen interest in the subject
• A proven track record of excellent achievement of KS3
• A relentless drive to secure the best possible outcomes for pupils of all abilities
• Excellent communication and ICT skills
• A commitment to fresh and exciting methods of delivering the curriculum
