Glyn School is seeking to appoint an innovative and dynamic Teacher of Law to join our hugely popular and successful Social Sciences department.

Law is a popular option at A level, with many students choosing to study further at University. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowedge and a comprehensive understanding of teaching Law. Outstanding communication and organisation skills are essential as well as the ability to use Information Technology to support learning and organise work patterns. 

If you have high expectations of students in terms of learning and achievement, and you have enthusiam for developing new approaches for learning and teaching, then this position could be for you. Glyn School is ideally situated just ten minutes’ walk from both Ewell East and Ewell West stations, both of which are approximately 20 minutes from Clapham Junction and within Zone 6.

About Glyn and Sixth Form:

Glyn is a high performing school, with an Ofsted ranking of ‘Outstanding’ in 2009 and 2012. Glyn is the lead school and a designated Teaching School in the successful and thriving GLF Multi-Academy Trust. We are a vibrant school for boys with 1227 students on roll (Year 7-11), and a successful mixed Sixth Form with 546 students, with just under a third of our Sixth Form intake consisting of girls. We offer a stumulating curriculum in Sixth Form, with a broad choice of courses providing both academic and vocational pathways. Although our Sixth Formers demonstrate increasing maturity and independence in their studies, we continue to provide the strong pastoral care that we believe underpins their success. The Sixth Form block is situated in The Chaloner Building, consisting of 18 classrooms, a large Common Room with Cafeteria, as well as a Private Study equipped with over 60 computers, both used exclusively by Sixth Formers.
