The College is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, high performing and enthusiastic individual to cover the post of Teacher of Law Maternity Cover who will lead and inspire students. 

Law at Notre Dame 

 Law is currently taught to A-level (OCR syllabus) and Law BTEC L3 Extended Certificate in Applied Law (Edexcel/Pearson).  Law is an outstanding department with Achievement rates and high grades consistently above benchmark and outstanding ALPS. We are now seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher who has the drive and enthusiasm to provide a high quality and challenging learning experience for our students whilst also ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment.

 Currently over 200 students are studying A level Law.  Additionally, there are 165 students currently studying the BTEC Law programme.   Student numbers are set to increase again this year. You will be able to build on the excellent academic success of the department and be able to teach on the new linear A-level and/or BTEC.

 There is a mutually supportive, friendly and professional atmosphere within the Law department and a strong emphasis on enabling all students to realise their potential. Within the department there is a wealth of experience and professional knowledge and an encouragement to undertake CPD. We would welcome applications from recently qualified teachers and NQTs.
