Required for September 2021 - this is an exciting new post as Law will be a brand new subject to be launched at KS5 at the Academy in September 2021

Haberdashers' Abraham Darby is an 11-18 mixed school which opened in 2008. We are part of the Haberdashers' Adams’ Federation linked with Haberdashers’ Adams in Newport. We are located within a short distance from the picturesque River Severn and Ironbridge Gorge, not far from Telford and Shrewsbury, with good motorway links to the M6 and M54.  Moving into a new state of the art, technology rich building in July 2012, our facilities and working environment for both pupils and staff are excellent.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and committed teacher of Law to join us from September 2021 to teach predominately Key Stage 5.  The ability to offer a second subject in Social Sciences would be desirable but not essential. The successful candidate may be required to deliver some lessons at KS4 within the first year across another subject within the Faculty.  They will join a highly committed team dedicated to raising achievement and transforming learning. Full-time is preferred but part-time applicants will also be considered (please indicate this on your application form). This post is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
