Job overview

We have a fantastic opening for an innovative and energetic teacher with a wide-reaching skill set to inspire pupils with additional learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity for an empathetic, adaptable and flexible individual with a good sense of humour who is passionate about pupil care and unlocking our pupils’ full potential to join an established and dynamic team.

If you are seeking a stepping stone to a future SEN management post, then this role could be for you. The ability to teach EAL would be an advantage, as would an interest in educational assessment.

We offer an exceptional working environment, which includes a competitive salary, state-of-the-art facilities and wide-ranging prospects for development; the School is committed to the leadership development of its staff.

We welcome applications from both the independent and state sectors.

About Bryanston School

Bryanston is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18, set in a beautiful 400-acre site near Blandford Forum in Dorset. It includes Bryanston Prep School, a co-educational day and boarding prep school in the neighbouring village of Durweston.

Founded in 1928, the school aims above all to develop the all-round talents of individual pupils. A broad, flexible academic and extra-curricular programme is offered and each pupil benefits from considerable one-to-one help and guidance from a personal tutor, subject teachers and housemaster/housemistress. Bryanston aims to combine the best of the new and the old, as befits the school motto et nova et vetera.
