About Mintlaw Academy
Mintlaw Academy lies in the heart of Buchan in North East Aberdeenshire, 30 miles North of Aberdeen.
The school opened in 1981 and with a capacity of 1,000 serves the rural communities of Central Buchan and draws pupils from the villages of Mintlaw, Fetterangus, Longside, Maud, New Deer, New Pitsligo, Strichen and Stuartfield and the surrounding area.
