Required for September 2021, a qualified Mathematics Teacher who can teach confidently up to and including A level Mathematics. A Level Further Maths teaching is available in the future for the right candidate. The post would suit an NQT or a more experienced teacher, with leadership opportunities in the Maths Department for the right candidate.
The Maths department achieves consistently excellent GCSE and A Level results. In 2019, we achieved 27% Grade 9 at GCSE and 35% A* at A Level. Many students go on to study Mathematics and related subjects at Oxford, Cambridge and other Russell Group universities. Maths is the most popular A Level for boys and girls, with many taking Further Maths and STEP papers.
As you may have seen on our website or in the TES, we are also looking to recruit into our Computing Department. We are open to combining the teaching of Maths with Computing so as to create roles, full time or part time, around the skills and interests of the right candidates.
